It is true that the heroes who gave their lives on Flight 93 on Sept. 11th, 2001 did so that others might be saved. I do not believe however that these heroes gave their lives so that their children would be responsible for paying to rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan at the expense of 87 billion dollars. I don’t recall Japan rebuilding Pearl Harbor. What is wrong with our government? Why do we placate our enemies? Why would we spend billions rebuilding countries where we are still hated, even after liberating them from oppressive dictators?
I believe this great waste of billions of dollars is the result our burning desire to be politically correct. It has blinded us. Don’t get me wrong. I like our President. I appreciated hearing President Bush say that the greatest change in his life took place when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. It took courage to do that. Sadly though, politics, position and power sometimes make men compromise. Our leaders are scared to death to face the truth about Islam and the Muslim world. Secretary of State Colin Powell was wrong when he said, “the Muslim religion is a religion of tolerance and understanding.” If that were true Mr. Powell would be able to point out at least a single Muslim state on our planet where tolerance and understanding are extended to non-Muslims, but he cannot.
I don’t want one red cent to be sent to a country that is dominated by pro-Islamic views. Any place where Christians are openly executed is no friend of ours. You mark it down, Muslims hate Americans, Jews, and Christians of any race. We need to quit financing people who hate our guts. We are a joke in the eyes of our enemies. I wonder what the heroes of 9-11 would have to say about almost 90 billion being used to rebuild the terrorist countries that killed them. Think about it; if you want your country rebuilt, just attack the ol’ USA and we’ll come and remodel the whole stinking place. Are we stupid or what?
Wake up America, it’s time we quit trying to please everyone and sugar coat the truth with our pussy-footin political correctness. We need some leaders who will get a backbone and tell Iraq and all the other Muslim countries that they are on their own. We owe those who’ve given their lives for us not those who have attacked us. Let’s examine our allegiance and loyalty. God forbid that we continue to mock their deaths by supporting their killers.
