America - The Land of the Double Standard

On September 11th here in the upstate of South Carolina in the hours that followed the terrorist attacks, in a public school classroom, a teacher led her students in prayer as a means of comforting and consoling some obviously distraught kids. When the principal of the school found out about this horrible indiscretion, he made a bee-line for that classroom and suspended the teacher. Thankfully this action reached the local media and caused enough outrage that the teacher was quickly - unsuspended. I thought that it was great that this wrong was quickly corrected. Now it looks like public school students are going to be allowed to pray during class hours. They are even being allowed to bring their prayer books to school. It seems that private rooms within the schools will be provided for holding prayer meetings. I was amazed when I learned that teachers are being allowed to alter students' class assignments and schedules to accommodate these prayer meetings. Their seems to be only one condition, these students must be Muslims. Yep, it's still unconstitutional for Christians to do any of these things. The Muslims must be under a different constitution. The New York Post reports that "the New York public school system, (NY if you've forgotten, is the place hardest by the attacks on Sept. 11th.), is permitting Muslim students to pray in school buildings during school hours in honor of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Muslim students will be given private rooms within the school to practice their faith, and teachers will even be allowed and encouraged to alter or adjust students' schedules to accommodate these religious gatherings".

Christians and Jews are still being forbidden to express their faith in any open way in most government schools but now Muslim children are now being allowed to practice their faith with open blessing and approval. This religious double standard does not seem to bother the A.C.L.U. or violate their hallowed doctrine of "separation of church and state." Clearly, these folks do not believe in the separation of Mosque and state. I hope you don't have any doubts that these people don't hate all religion. What they hate is Christianity. It's Christ and the spread of the Gospel that they want to stop!

If you think that this is only going on in New York you are sadly mistaken. Starting last week, thousands of Wisconsin's public school children were taken to the movie theaters to watch "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." I guess school officials there do not believe in the separation of coven and state. Public school kids in America celebrate the pagan holiday Halloween and Kwanzaa while the celebration of Christian is minimized. It should be painfully obvious that the "separation of church and state' is just a ploy. The real goal is to separate America's school children from their Christian heritage. When I was in school we had Easter Vacation, now they have spring break. I guess we don't want to offend the pagans, huh?

God Bless America - right.
