The Springdale (Arkansas) Morning News reports, one of the rapists told police that he sneaked up on the boy and tied Dirkhising's hands behind his back. He then placed Dirkhising's pair of underwear in the teen's mouth and secured the briefs with a bandanna and duct tape. He said he blindfolded the youth, bound him to a bed and repeatedly sodomized him. Afterwards the assailant said he went to the kitchen to get a sandwich and that when he returned to the bedroom, Jesse was was not breathing. He alerted his roommate, who called 911. The Springdale Morning News also reported that the police believe the boy had been raped repeatedly over a period of hours, including with foreign objects. The Prosecuting Attorney would not theorize on why this murder received such inadequate attention. News stories published about the crime, to date, have not emphasized the fact the suspects are homosexuals.
According to the Media Research Center just the opposite occurred the day after Matthew Shepherd's Oct. 8, 1998, beating in Wyoming. The Associated Press national wire carried its first 400-word story headlined: "Openly gay student critically injured in Wyoming attack." The next day, Oct. 10, AP produced a 700-word story with the headline: "Gay student clings to life after savage beating." On Oct. 11, the AP ran this 500-word story headlined: "Call for Tougher Laws After Attack on Gay Student." An investigation through Associated Press on-line records showed the Shepard story was reported as a nationwide story every day for a week following the beating. A spokeswoman for CNN said, "Our affiliate station in Atlanta was tracking the story.” When you compare the Shepard story against the Dirkhising murder there is a gross incongruity displayed. Yet, the result of the Shepard story is that anyone who speaks out against homosexuality is immediately branded a homophobe.
The problem is the national media strains the average American's news diet through a politically correct filter. The resounding similarity between the murders of Jessie Dirkhising and Matthew Shepard is that both are sad, shameful, and sickening deaths. This week the sentencing of the murderer of Shepard made national news. Yet nothing will be said about the Dirkhising murder because of the sodomite lobby.
Trumpet reader, imagine being the grieving parents of this child. Words cannot describe the pain they must be going through. Pray for this family. To add insult to this vile crime, imagine having your grief compounded by the politically correct media, who refuses to cover the story lest they offend the SODOMITES. Sodom and Gomorrah had nothing on the United States. We need to speak out about this wickedness. Fundamental Believers cannot be right with God and politically correct. Ezekiel 3:9 says, “As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not..” If the world is silent that is to be expected but believers cannot be. When was the last time you spoke about the vile perversions that are so prominent in our society today? IS. 58:1 says, Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression. Speak out Believer! Our country is being given over to the sodomite lifestyle and to fear of addressing their wickedness.
