News And Announcements
Pastor Ray Stuart and the members of Gateway Baptist Church in Boiling Springs, South Carolina will be holding there annual Winter Jubilee from Monday, January 27th—Friday, January 31st. Preachers will include Joe Authur, Billy Mitchell, Don Farmer, Jr., Tommy Steele, Bud Wishon, Tommy Tester and others who will be called from the floor. Services begin at 7:00 PM nightly with morning services being held on Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Starting on Tuesday of the meeting meals will be furnished following the services for those who attend. For more information please call 864-578-1677.
We seldom print prayer requests in the Bible Trumpet but a very urgent need just came to my attention. Bro. Dennis Carter’s daughter, Melody Carter, has been battling cancer for about a year. Until last week she seemed to be doing very well. In fact, the doctors had given her a clean bill of health. The cancer she had was removed and she was doing well. However, last week three tumors were found in her lungs and the doctors are not giving much hope. Melody is unmarried, she has no children and is in her mid-thirty’s. She lives at home with Dr. and Mrs. Carter, and she really needs your prayers. Could you pray for her right now?
