Watch out for Weariness

As a Christian, there are many dangers we are facing in the year 2003. What is one major danger that we let creep into our lives? That danger is weariness. Webster describes weariness as, “the quality of exhausting strength or patience, tiresomeness, fatigue, the mind of yielding to discouragement.” Here are nine dangers to watch for in weariness.

         
  1. Feeling like you are not appreciated.
    2.      
  2. Failures that seem to multiply.
  3. Finance problems that grow over your head.
    4.     
  4. Family members who are not pulling along in the right direction.
    5.          
  5. Future promises that never come to pass.
    6.     
  6. Fallen heroes that let you down.
    7.     
  7. Friends who turn on you.
    8.     
  8. Fractured health during a young age.
    9.    
  9. Falsehoods from those we thought were reliable sources.

Watch out for these things. They are snares! Keep your eyes on Jesus. Don’t ever give up! Remember it will be worth it all when we see Jesus!
