Dr. Bob Jones Sr. used to say, “Do right, though the stars fall. Do right.” After George Bush’s visit to BJU sparked a wave of controversy, culminating in Senator Robert Torricelli’s resolution seeking a formal congressional censure, Dr. Bob III rejected his grandfather’s advice by announcing on Larry King Live that the school’s ban on inter-racial dating was cancelled, effective immediately. I have several problems with the cowardice of Bob Jones, the wickedness of Bob Torricelli and the current national hysteria involving “racism”.
1. According to the Bill of Rights, Americans are supposed to have the freedom to express their personal convictions without fear of government reprisal. The First Amendment specifically applies this protection to religious organizations. Senator Torricelli’s act is tantamount to government-sponsored persecution of historic Christianity. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. The Indianapolis Baptist Temple, pastored by Dr. Greg Dixon, is scheduled to be auctioned by the IRS on April 10th.
2. It is sinful when a Christian shows the same intimidation that an unsaved man does when confronted by the pressure of political correctness. Proverbs 29:25 declares, “The fear of man bringeth a snare:” In the fable, The Emperor’s New Clothes, everyone was afraid to express what their eyes could plainly see – the emperor was naked!
3. People with integrity are repulsed by the hypocrisy of double standards. If “racism” is intolerable, why do we tolerate such anomalies as Black History Month, Black Entertainment Television, The American Negro College Fund and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People? In view of the recent movie title, White Boys Can’t Jump, why don’t Caucasian athletes advance their careers through affirmative action? Why did Reggie White get away with his “racist” observations while John Rocker was suspended, fined and forced to undergo “sensitivity training” for his comments? How come dozens of “African American” athletes are retained by their teams after being convicted of drug trafficking, rape and other violent crimes while Pete Rose is banished from baseball for life over “alleged” gambling improprieties? And why is O.J. Simpson on the golf course every week while Nicole and Ron Goldman are under the turf?
4. Cowardly pastors and laymen have allowed this double standard to permeate our Baptist churches. While white Christians are held to the admonition, “Great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them”, the average black believer in a predominately white congregation has a special dispensation to wear his feelings on his sleeves year round. The white brethren and “sisteren” are constantly walking on eggshells while the black brethren and “sisteren” are constantly getting offended!
5. The fundamental issue is that Satan is striving toward a one-world society and this involves race mixing. The Bible is clear that God opposes globalism! “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth...” (Gen. 11:6-8) As to where they were scattered, Moses wrote, “When the most high divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.” (Deut. 32:8) Comparing this verse with the words in Genesis 10:25, “…for in his [Peleg’s] days was the earth divided”, it appears that God separated mankind into twelve geographic regions (i.e., one for each of the twelve tribes). One such list might include Arctica, Antarctica, Asia, Africa, India, Europe, Greenland, North America, Central America, South America, Australia and the Indies. Paul reiterated this politically incorrect concept when he wrote, “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” (Acts 17:26) This is why 75% of the present earth is covered by water and why Revelation 21:1, speaking of the future earth says, “…and there was no more sea.” The all-important purpose for keeping men apart is given in the next verse, “That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.” (Acts 17:27)
6. In the meantime, Satan is bombarding white America, particularly white Christianity, with sensual African culture. If you deny this fact, you are a liar, a coward, a fool, or all three! This has nothing to do with “hate”, but whether or not your eyes are open. Sixty seconds of viewing BET programming will explain why the teenagers in our youth departments are starting to act like idiots; why they are using “Ebonics” instead of English – “Sup, G? Wha’s peepin’ wit’ my homies?”, etc.; why our boys turn their baseball caps backward and prefer a pair of dust mops to a pair of trousers; and why our young ladies are running off with the Hamites they meet while working at the local fast food restaurants, etc., etc., etc. Genesis 3:1 in the Black Bible Chronicles pretty well sums up the problem: “Now the serpent was one bad dude, one of the baddest of all the animals the Almighty had made.”
The prophet Isaiah warned of these times when presenting King Sennacherib as a type of the antichrist, “Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.” (Isaiah 10:12-14)
As the future disciples of antichrist are presently removing God’s bounds and gathering all the earth for pillage, don’t YOU be guilty of cowardice! Open your mouth like a man! If you share the conviction of your parents and grandparents that blacks and whites shouldn’t intermarry- don’t let the “Torricellis” dissuade you. Martin Luther King, Muhammad Ali, Louis Farrakhan, 90% of the present black population (many of whom are fine, decent people) and about 150% of mulatto offspring ARE IN TOTAL AGREEMENT WITH YOU!!! “…LET US LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT, AND THE SIN WHICH DOTH SO EASILY BESET US…” (Hebrews 12:1b)
