Almost thirty years have passed. Has the SBC become more fundamental or has the fundamentalist become more liberal? From where I sit, it looks like the we (Fundamentalists) have become more liberal and the SBC has gone further down the road of compromise. What troubles me even more is, “If we are Independent why do we have Southern Baptists in our churches or why do Independent’s go into the Southern Baptist churches to preach? I believe money is the answer.
I don’t think we need Southern Baptists in our churches to preach. I don’t think we need so-called Independent Baptist preachers in our pulpits that preach for the SBC in their pulpits. I don’t think we should have Evangelists who go to Southern Baptist churches in our pulpits or camp meetings either. In addition to this, I don’t think missionaries need to take Southern Baptist money. If you do, don’t seek support from Independent Baptists who are trying to stand true to the Word of God.
