The Attacks of Idiots

Hollywood loves to attack our President and portray him as a dimwit. In fact, if all you knew about our president and his administration was what you learned from these liberals you have to believe our country is being led by the least qualified group of dolts in its history. I thought it would be interesting and especially insightful to look at the biographies of these “stupid,” “ignorant,” “moronic” leaders who are running our country and compare them to those celebrities who are castigating them.

President George W. Bush: Received a Bachelors Degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He served as an F-102 pilot for the Texas Air National Guard. He was elected Governor of Texas twice. Vice President, Dick Cheney: Earned a B.A. and a M.A. in political science. He is a self-made millionaire in the field of business. Secretary of State Colin Powell: Graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelor's Degree in geology. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from George Washington University. He is a retired Four Star General in the United States Army. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld: Attended Princeton University on Scholarship and served in the U.S. Navy (1954-57) as a Naval aviator; he was elected as a U.S. Representative, Illinois, 1962-69; he has served as White House Chief of Staff, 1974-77; Secretary of Defense, 1975-77. Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge: Raised in a working class family in veterans' public housing in Erie, PA. He earned a scholarship to Harvard, graduating with honors in 1967. After his first year at Law School he was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served as an infantry staff sergeant in Vietnam, earning the Bronze Star for Valor. He was elected to Congress in 1982 and was re-elected six times. National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice: Enrolled at the University of Denver at the age of 15 and graduated at age 19, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, graduating Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, she received her Master's from the University of Notre Dame in 1975; she also has a Ph.D. in International Studies.

What about these celebrities? What kind of education do they have? Do thy have any experience in running a nation or in things that pertain to our National Security? Shouldn’t they, if they are going to call into question the intelligence of our leaders? Shouldn’t we also have all the facts on their educations and background. Let’s examine just a few of the most outspoken. Barbra Streisand completed high school and has a career in singing and acting. Cher dropped out of school in 9th grade and has a career in singing and acting. Martin Sheen flunked the exam to enter University of Dayton and has a career in acting. Jessica Lange dropped out of college during her mid-freshman year and has a career in Acting. Alec Baldwin dropped out of George Washington U. after a scandal and has a career in acting. Julia Roberts completed high school and has a career in acting. Sean Penn completed High school and has a career in acting. George Clooney dropped out of the University of Kentucky and has a career in acting. Michael Moore dropped out during his first year at the University of Michigan and has a career in directing. Sarah Jessica Parker completed High School and has a career in acting. Jennifer Anniston completed High School and has a career in acting. Mike Farrell completed High school and has a career in acting. Janeane Garofelo dropped out of college and has a career as a stand-up comedian. These are just a few of the many we could have looked at. The fact is that our President and the top people around him are far more qualified.

President Bush and his cabinet are briefed daily, even hourly, on our national security. They have access to top secret intelligence assets. They have information that is gathered around the world concerning the Middle East, threats to America, and the plans of terrorists. They are briefed regularly by the CIA, the FBI, Interpol, our military, and our allies. These celebrities on the other hand, who seem to know far more than our government, gather their information by occasionally have a sit-down with one of our enemies. They are biased by hatred for everything that is patriotic, for all things that are conservative, and for everything that is even remotely called Christian. Remember, Proverbs 12:15 says, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes.” The Hollywood crowd believes they are right. But they are not. I can see who the real dimwits are.
