Islam - A Peaceful Religion?

Did you know that 1.4 billion people on planet Earth claim to be Muslim? Did you know the Koran is followed by nearly 1/4th of the Earth's population? Did you know the Koran/Quaran still calls for death to everyone who is not Muslim? Did you know it is estimated by the LTN that 1/2 of the Earth's population will be Muslim by 2055? Since the terrorist attack on the WTC, Arab & American Muslims in the U.S. have tried to portray the Muslim, Islamic faith as a loving, peaceful religion ... attempting to make Bin Laden look like a renegade, off-brand Muslim; but the truth is, Bin Laden is living out the true faith of the true Muslim.

George W. Bush said "Islam is all about peace. " George Braswell, Jr. who lived in Iran for seven years wrote a book called, What You Need To Know About Islam and Muslims. In his book he deals with peace from a Muslim perspective, "The world of Islam must conquer and rule over those of ignorance and disobedience.... The peace of the world cannot be secured until the peoples come under the rule and protection of Islam." p.87 "Muslims are under mandate to practice jihad, (holy war) because they believe that Islam is the correct and perfect religion and that all other religious are inferior."

Below are several verses from the Koran, the Muslim Bible. Does this sound like a religion that is all about peace?

[5.51] "O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other- and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

[4.891 They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike, therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.


Again, Muslims are not to befriend Christians & Jews, but rather seize them and kill them if they will not convert.

[4.91] You will find others who desire that they should be safe from you and secure from their own people; as often as they are sent back to the mischief they get thrown into it headlong; therefore if they do not withdraw from you, and (do not) offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and against these we have given you a clear authority.

[9.301 And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah-, these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before-, may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
