From the Mail BoxEvery month we receive numerous e-mails, letters, and calls concerning the previous month's Bible Trumpet. We created a "From the Mailbox" section in the Trumpet to print many of these communiqués. Some of the letters we've received over the last several years were extremely hot, and even controversial. I plan to include a few of thew past letters as space allows, in this section. So that you can understand the context the letter was written in, I will also list the article or the edition of the Trumpet that the letter is referencing. For the last several years we have been posting the Trumpet on the internet each month. You can access these at www.BaptistBibleTrumpet.com. We do encourage our readers to write in. Please understand anonymous mail will not be read. If you don't have the guts to sign it we don't have the time to waste reading it.
Editor's note. Sadly this reader, who is in the ministry, who handles the Word of God, has, like so many, used the great doctrine of grace as a cover for accepting all manner of compromise. Clearly he has no understanding of grace. It is not a license for accepting sin. Here is what God said about grace in Titus 2:11: "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world."
Dear Bro. Mays, just a note to let you know how much I enjoy the Trumpet. It is a constant source of blessing inspiration. Thank God for a man who has the backbone to take a stand for the truth
